Co-operative School Of Nursing (Galle , Sri Lanka) is a co-operative project ofSri Lanka, it provides standered nursing training to Sri Lankan School leavers
with under supervision of NAITA - National Aperentice Industrial Training
Authority of Sri Lanka and Souther Development Authority(SDA). (Those are
govenment authorities )
In this Training center the student could able to get good knowledge and training about general nursing , because it is a 3 years training , within 1st 18 months they will study in the school .at the school there will be a 1500hrs lecture hours and final 18 monthe they should joint with private health sector as a nurse and tobe get more practicle knowledge . Finally student will registered with private health sector act by Cooperative School Of Nursing. After 3 years he or she will paseed out as a private sector competent licenced nurse
As a summery :
Total training - 3 years(36 months)
It devides in to two sections;
- Formal Training -18 months (at the Cooperative School of Nursing)
- In-service training -18 months (at the coopertative hospital Ltd(Galle) or any other standered private hospital )
- It is free.
- Provide govenment authorized reguler nursing training.
- 2800 academic hours.
- Totally 3 years ( 5500hrs) .
- Valuable educational facilities with multimedia projectors, library
